Knocked Out an Early Christmas Present

I decided to make a scarf for my husband's Aunt Susie for next Christmas, because I had been hoarding two skeins of Lion Brand Tweed Stripes in Mixed Berries.

I used Lion Brand's Double Crochet pattern, because I wanted something simple, and I figured that because a pattern had already been worked up in the Tweed Stripes, it was certain to look awesome. I used both skeins for the scarf.

"Tweedy blends create subtle stripes as you knit, perfect for sweaters, scarves, accessories and more. A perfect blend of fashion and function this easy care, bulky yarn stitches up in a cozy, but lightweight fabric that looks and feels great."
